Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL. Responsible for preparing and coordinating all corporate income tax compliance, tax provision preparation, indirect tax compliance, federal & state income tax audits, and various tax research projects. The Senior Tax Associate position with advancement opportunity, reports directly to the Tax Manager Assisting in the day-to-day functions of the Tax Group, Process Management, Compliance and SEC Reporting. CPA or CPA Eligible required in this fast-paced environment. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Prepare the Company's federal, state and local income tax compliance Assist in the preparation of the Company's ASC-740 Income Tax Provision, including all required 10Q and 10K disclosures. Assist in responding to inquiries and assist in the successful completion of all federal, state and local income and franchise tax audits. Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments, including ensuring coordination with budgeting and forecasting financial results. Prepare and oversee the Company's indirect tax filings (sales & use, tangible personal property taxes). Monitor federal and state tax legislation to assess the potential impact on income tax compliance. Design and implement process changes if needed.
