/n/n /n Shift: Days, 7:00 am 7:00 pm (with weekend rotation) /n
/n/n /n Location: AdventHealth Daytona Beach 301 Memorial Medical
Parkway, Daytona Beach, FL 32117 /n /n/n /n The role you'll
contribute: /n /n/n /n Responsible for promoting and restoring
patients' health by completing the nursing process. This position
collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to
provide comprehensive care. Additionally, this role offers physical
and psychological support to patients and families. This position
may supervise assigned team members to ensure quality care.
Responsibilities for this role include providing care consistent
with the policies, procedures, and standards of the facility and
relevant state nursing practice regulations. /n /n/n /n The value

assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological,
developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of
patients. /n /n - Develop and implement individualized care plans
based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating
and revising these plans as necessary. /n /n - Administer
medications and treatments accurately and safely, following
physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse
reactions. /n /n - Educate patients and families about health
conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to
promote understanding and compliance. /n /n - Collaborate with
medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize
patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. /n /n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient
information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the
medical record. /n /n - Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
and interventions continuously, making necessary adjustments to
improve patient health and achieve positive outcomes. /n /n -
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety
standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe
healthcare environment. /n /n - Provide emotional support and
therapeutic communication to patients and their families,
addressing their emotional and psychological needs. /n /n -
Supervise and delegate care provided by members of the healthcare
team to ensure quality and efficiency. /n /n - Engage in continuous
professional development and participate in performance improvement
activities to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. /n
/n - Respond to code situations promptly and effectively, providing
necessary interventions to stabilize patients. /n /n/n /n/n /n
*Terms: 24-month Full-time Employment Contract Required for
Relocation /n /n/n /n Relocation Eligibility: /n /n/n /n/n /n -
Must live 50 miles outside of campus address. /n /n - Rehires less
than 12 months from separation date are not eligible for
Relocation. /n /n/n /n/n /n The expertise and experiences you'll
need to succeed: /n /n/n /n Minimum Qualifications: /n /n/n /n/n /n
- Graduate of school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of
Science degree or diploma. /n /n - Current valid State of Florida
or Multi-State license as a Registered Nurse /n /n - Current Basic
Life Support (BLS) certification /n /n - Current Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) certification /n /n/n /n/n /n Preferred
Qualifications: /n /n/n /n/n /n - Bachelor of Science degree in
Nursing /n /n - One (1) year of prior hospital, acute care Nursing
experience /n /n - Professional certification /n /n/n /n/n /n This
