All while understanding that together we are even better. /n /n/n /n Schedule: Full Time /n /n/n /n Shift :Day /n /n/n /n Location: AdventHealth Daytona Beach /n /n/n /n The community you'll be caring for: 224 MEMORIAL MEDICAL PKWY, Daytona Beach, 32117 /n /n/n /n The role you'll contribute: /n /n/n /n The Radiation Oncology office nurse demonstrated a cancer specific knowledge base and clinical expertise in cancer care to provide nursing care to patients receiving Radiation Therapy under the direction of the physician and/or nurse manager in compliance with established standards and protocols of the practice and AdventHealth goals and objectives. /n /n/n /n The value you'll bring to the team: /n /n/n /n/n /n - Functions independently and interdependently with the radiation oncology team in providing quality patient care. /n /n/n /n - Provides safe and effective patient care under direction of the physician and/or nurse manager. /n /n/n /n - Performs but not limited to: Initial and ongoing assessment / Preparing charts for evaluation and management visits / Charting radiation induced toxicities /n /n/n /n - Performs diagnostic and therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician and utilizing guidelines established by AdventHealth. /n /n/n /n - Schedules patients for procedures, diagnostic testing or specialists, as directed by the physician. /n /n/n /n/n /n The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: /n /n/n /n Minimum qualifications : /n /n/n /n/n /n - Graduate of an accredited nursing program /n /n/n /n - Minimum 2 years nursing experience /n /n/n /n - Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure required. /n /n/n /n - BLS/CPR certification required. /n /n/n /n/n /n Preferred qualifications : /n /n/n /n/n /n - Oncology nursing experience /n /n/n /n - Oncology Certification /n /n/n /n/n /n This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
