DescriptionAn excellent opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper is available through Accountemps. Do you have experience working with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting? You may be the right candidate for this Bookkeeper role. This long-term temporary position is a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper who wants to work in the Daytona Beach, Florida area.Major responsibilities

• Manage and review general ledger
• Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
• Monitor accounts by balancing entries
• Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
• Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
• Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
• Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accountsRequirements
  • Experience using accounting software
  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
  • Bookkeeping experience
