Opportunity The Department of Aerospace Engineering is seeking a
highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to
provide comprehensive administrative support. This position reports
directly to the Department Chair or Associate Chair and plays a
vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the
department. The Administrative Assistant supports faculty,
students, and departmental leadership by managing financial,
purchasing, travel, and event coordination activities. The ideal
candidate demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, and
communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in
a collaborative team environment. Compensation The hourly pay rate
range for this position is $18-$20 per hour. The final offer will
consider the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience,
along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and
business needs, and may fall outside of the stated range. Perks

and Qualifications: Associate's degree or completion of program of
18 months after high school with an area of concentration Business
administration or related Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Outlook Experience with procurement and accounting Ability and
willingness to learn new software Strong communication and
interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with faculty,
staff, students, and administrators Strong organizational skills
Must work well in a team environment Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a University environment highly desirable Experience
