Job Description:
Job Description Onin Staffing is currently hiring experienced
Blaster Painters to join our growing industrial coatings team. The
ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in
abrasive blasting and industrial painting, with a strong
understanding of surface preparation and coating application
processes. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality surface
finishing and corrosion protection for industrial components.
Salary: $20 - 25/hour Shift: 2nd Shift (54 hours/week) Monday to
Thursday: 4:45 PM – 3:15 AM Friday: 2:30 PM – 11:15 PM Saturday:
12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Work Experience Perform abrasive blasting using
various blasting media to clean and prepare metal surfaces Apply
primers and industrial coatings using airless and conventional
spray equipment Read and follow work orders, job specifications,
and safety instructions Mix and prepare coating materials according
to manufacturer and project specifications Maintain and
troubleshoot blasting and painting equipment Ensure compliance with
environmental and safety regulations Conduct surface profile and
cleanliness checks as required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years
of experience in blasting and industrial painting Knowledge of
surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE) Experience
operating blasting equipment, airless spray systems, and related
tools Ability to wear PPE including respirators and work in
confined or elevated spaces Physically able to lift/move 75 lbs and
stand for extended periods High School Diploma or GED required NACE
