An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in an inclusive educational environment. This contract role spans from January 12, 2026, through May 20, 2026, providing a chance to make a meaningful difference during the school year. The position is located in Jefferson, GA, within an elementary school setting focused on co-teaching inclusion classes. Key Responsibilities: Deliver instruction tailored to students with special education needs in an inclusive classroom. Collaborate with general education teachers to support co-teaching models. Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress. Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. Attend onsite meetings and collaborate with school staff to ensure compliance with educational standards. Qualifications: Active Georgia Special Education General Curriculum certification is required. Experience working in elementary special education and familiarity with co-teaching methodologies. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to working onsite full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
