rate. Summary Objective We are seeking a dedicated and
self-motivated professional CNC Automation Maintenance Technician -
With expertise in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing
Voortman and Pema metalworking machinery. The ideal candidate is
skilled in conducting routine maintenance and repairs as well as
troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and long-term
reliability. Guided by the principle of Improvement through
Excellence, our maintenance team and CNC Automation Operators
cooperate as a team to guarantee the utmost dependability and
operability of automation systems. Essential Functions Responsible
for delivering performance and operational uptime of our automated
systems including but not limited to automated metal fabrication
equipment, automated painting equipment and other technologies as
assigned. Support the development of maintenance plans for key
automated manufacturing/fabrication equipment Provide triage
support during outages of our automated systems Participates in
workshops, Kaizen events and other related activities as needed
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated
manufacturing/fabrication equipment Diagnose and resolve
mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to minimize
downtime. Configure, calibrate, and optimize robotic welding cells
and automation components. Collaborate with engineering and
production teams to implement process improvements and equipment
upgrades. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance
activities, equipment performance, and repair histories (Upkeep
software). Ensure compliance with safety standards and company
policies during all maintenance and repair activities. Provide
technical support and training to operators and junior technicians
as needed. Partners internal and external teams to support
manufacturing related initiatives Identifies barriers to success
and solicits help from leadership as and when needed. Robot
calibration and servicing: Maintaining accuracy in automated weld
paths Sensor and camera systems: Understanding seam tracking and
adaptive welding technologies Welding power source maintenance:
Checking leads, gas flow, and consumables Exposure to PLC and other
industrial controls/automation technologies such as RSLogix5000,
CAN-BUS systems etc. Preventive maintenance routines: Lubrication,
filter changes, and wear part inspections Troubleshooting and
diagnostics: Identifying and resolving mechanical or software
issues Electrical and hydraulic, pneumatic systems: Basic
understanding of wiring, sensors, and fluid systems Safety
compliance: Adhering to lockout/tagout procedures and machine
safety protocols Robot calibration and servicing: Maintaining
accuracy in automated weld paths Sensor and camera systems:
Understanding seam tracking and adaptive welding technologies
Welding power source maintenance: Checking leads, gas flow, and
consumables Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production
team to support smooth operations and continuous improvement

out of our Imeson Facility in Jacksonville, FL. This position is
not approved for telecommuting or working remotely. Work
Environment Most work is performed in a production fabrication shop
environment with exposure to loud machinery, welding equipment,
grinders, and cutting tools. Presence of metal dust, fumes, and
sharp materials; proper ventilation and PPE (personal protective
equipment) are mandatory. Standing, bending, lifting, and moving
heavy materials for extended periods. Temperature fluctuations
depend on season and equipment usage; some areas may be hot due to
operational needs. Physical Demands While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee
frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or
feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is
occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift
or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move
objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the
ability to adjust focus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This
is a full-time position. Hours: Friday & Saturday 6:00AM-4:30PM
Sunday & Monday 6:00PM - 4:30am Travel Some occasional local day
travel may also be necessary. Occasional travel to customer job
sites and conferences may be required. Required Education and
Experience 10 years of hands-on CNC operation and maintenance
experience. High school diploma or GED required, technical
certification or associate degree in manufacturing technology or
related field preferred. Proficient in reading and interpreting
electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
Familiarity with welding processes and automated material handling
systems. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
under minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills and
attention to detail. Familiar with metal processing equipment such
as automated conveyors, paint systems, saws, and CNC equipment
Familiarity with Voortman VACAM software and CNC programming
Preferred. Preferred Education and Experience Voortman Academy
training or certification is a strong asset. Knowledge of ISO, GMP,
or other regulatory compliance standards. Minimum 2 years of
experience operating Voortman metalworking machinery (e.g., V630,
V310, V807, V304) Preferred. Voortman Operator Training (includes
VACAM, machine setup, and safety) Welding certifications (e.g.,
AWS, EN ISO 9606) CNC Machining or automation technician diplomas
Safety training (e.g., OSHA, confined space, electrical safety)
Weld Control 300 training. Work Authorization Must be authorized to
