Director of Marketing
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Full-Time, Fully Remote Director of Marketing to lead our client's growing Marketing team. This role will cover a broad spectrum of activity, from strategic projects and executive communications, to highly tactical local field support tactics. The Director requires the ability to manage both widely and deeply, seamlessly and often shifting between strategic efforts and tactical efforts.
Required Skills:

  • 15+ years' experience managing large field organization-focused Marketing teams
  • High emphasis on digital and creative skillsets:
  • Managing large scale web development and maintenance
  • Managing large scale directory and branch network digital assets
  • Executing paid, earned and owned media via on-demand methods
  • Scaling and delivering social and website content
  • Organizing high volume of photo, video and other branded assets for easy self-service among internal customers or agencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in managing high volume, quick turn copyrighting and creative development
  • Experience finding, onboarding and managing Marketing and media agencies
  • High emphasis on experience in the insulation, building product and/or construction markets
  • Experience leading growth teams through periods of change to expand core capabilities, scale new programs, develop talent and solve marketing challenges created by the business model.
  • Experience managing budgets, comfort with data, financials and performance analysis
  • Strong project management and cross-functional working relationships, able to effectively manage up, down and across for impact
  • Ability to manage direct reports with decisive support and guidance in parallel with enabling their autonomy, speed to delivery and empowerment where appropriate. Areas of Focus:

    • New product marketing/sales launch management Primary Responsibilities:
      • Expand the core functional capabilities of the growing Marketing organization. Identify improved methods to support internal customers in these hybrid local/national functional areas:
      • Paid media
      • Email campaigns
      • Direct mail campaigns
      • Digital event tracking
      • Digital based hiring support
      • Determine in-house or outsourced partners to develop strategic approach to these types of functions and the ability to support internal customers on-demand or with structured programs
      • Provide Marketing leadership and manage execution of key Executive initiatives, including:
      • Investor Relations content and events
      • Corporate Sustainability Reports and ESG content
      • HR, employer and corporate branding
      • M+A Marketing process management
      • Work directly with key members of the senior leadership team to understand their requirements, translate to Marketing team for implementation and manage to successful completion.
      • Oversee Creative Services team
      • Manage an in-house team focused on creative services, design and content development, event support and content asset management
      • Responsible for all brands and brand guides, logos and branded assets
      • Ensure accuracy, legal/safety, product and HR approvals, timeliness and relevance on all projects delivered by CS team
      • Launch creative asset management system
      • Ensure continual improvement in and expansion of field self-service materials channels
      • Manage 3rd party teams to support this work
      • Oversee Digital ecosystem management
      • Team is responsible for 10+ TB-owned websites, social media platforms and online reputation and listing assets as well as QR/TFN and other call-to-action mechanisms
      • Team is responsible for paid search and other paid media
      • Manage an in-house team focused on these digital activities
      • Ensure accuracy, speed to update, legal/safety, product and HR approvals and continuous improvement across website spectrum
      • Ensure ongoing ADA, data, contact and privacy compliance efforts are in place
      • Ensure product, service and supplier updates are made at national/branch or brand level
      • Ensure any new acquisition locations are incorporated into TB digital ecosystem and/or that TB Marketing has correct access and engagement in existing platforms
      • Deliver results reporting on key website metrics, social media metrics, reviews reporting and listings / media campaign results
      • Manage 3rd party teams to support this work
      • Tactical support for field branches
      • Team is responsible for sales and branch support, often in the areas of collateral development, recruiting advertising, event support, building or vehicle branding and other largely traditional and print tactics; increasing requests for digital support
      • Support internal / customer training and product knowledge events and webinars
      • Oversee resource dedicated to field project management
      • Large volume of small projects
      • New product marketing/sales launch management
      • Work with Innovation, business units, supply chain or manufacturers/suppliers to launch a new product or application to business unit sales and branch teams
      • Team is responsible to typically project manage launch process, ensure marketing and sales communications, product data sheets and materials and training content are available.
      • Oversee Field support lead in managing these projects
      • Manage budget, headcount and personnel matters and results reporting
      • Own all Marketing budgets, responsible for ongoing upkeep and monthly VP update
      • Own all Marketing results reporting with support of dotted-line all-team analyst. Typical projects include:
      • Website results reporting (leads, sales conversion, etc.)
      • Coordinate with digital and social leads
      • Team output management (volume of projects and summary of accomplishment, etc.
      • Develop monthly Marketing results read-out for VP and business unit heads
      • Coordinate with HR on key personnel items
