world.The Opportunity:The Career Services team at our Daytona Beach
Campus is currently recruiting for an Associate Director to assist
the Director of Operations, and Executive Director, in carrying out
the strategic initiatives and operations of Career Services for
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus. The
Associate Director will work with and advise students in various
degree areas on career activities, including advising students and
early alumni on their career planning and development, full-time
and co-op/internship search and professional development
activities. They will develop, track and strengthen relationships
with employers that recruit students and alumni for career
opportunities in the degrees they manage.In addition, the Associate
Director will develop and manage student programming from the
Daytona Beach Career Services Office and ensure a variety of
programs are available to assist students with career development
activities and increasing successful career opportunities. They
will oversee the job shadow program, facilitate the program, and
add participating companies based on student degree areas. They
will be expected to follow University brand standards and utilize
social media to increase overall attendance and participation in
all programming.
The Associate Director is responsible for training and managing
three Program Managers (Career Advisors) and will provide the team
training to develop skills to advise and assist students with
career preparation, knowledge and skills as well as provide them
with professional development opportunities.Responsibilities
