Overview
Halifax Health is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Department.
Summary
The Nurse Manager is responsible for managing, directing, planning and organizing a skilled nursing unit. -Financial management, quality of service, human resource management and a successful operational plan will be other areas of focus. Positon to cover same day surgery, HMC PACU and all of Deltona surgical services. -
Job Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelors -degree required, Masters degree preferred.
  
• Must -possess a current Florida Nursing License.
  
• 1-3 -years of -Progressive leadership experience required.
  
• Specialty -certification required per department.
  
• Current __________ -experience preferred.
  
• Professionalism in -interpersonal verbal and written communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians and ancillary department personnel required.
  
• Professional development, accountability, organization and leadership in the performance of -nursing management.
  
• Must be Customer-Service Oriented, in -order to -build positive working relationships with physicians and to assist in providing exceptional care to our patients and their families,
  
• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and -a continuous learner who is able to provide follow through on all assigned projects.
  
• Must possess the ability to support and educate staff memebers in their preferred learning style (audio, visual and kinesthetic).
  
• Must -provide -a positive example to all staff, as well as the ability to mentor staff memebers.
