along the way.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics System Sector is seeking
a Director Industrial Security 1 to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals to lead the Security Operations for a
restricted program within our organization. This position will be
located in Melbourne, FL.This position will report directly to the
Sector Security Director, with co-reporting to the Program Manager.
This position manages security operations across a large program,
assuring the security of people, facilities, programs, and
operations in a highly dynamic, diverse, and geographically
dispersed set of National Security efforts. Additionally, this
position will require up to 25% travel.The Director Industrial
Security 1 will be responsible for providing senior oversight and
leadership to Program and Industrial Security Operations across the
program. Will be part of the sector security leadership team,
enabling planning and execution of all aspects of the NG security
for programs, contracts and operations ranging from unclassified/NG
Proprietary to Collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP) and
Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs, which will
include the following responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for
a large team of managers and security professionals. Ensure that
the team fosters a cohesive and collaborative environment where
diversity and innovation is encouraged.
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders,
including government agencies and cognizant security authority to
help aid in decision making and execution that will impact program
performance and compliance.
- Coordinate with senior business area leadership to resolve
issues that could have an impact on the security, safety and
compliance of employees, programs, facilities and operations.
- Will apply expert multi-discipline program security management
experience (Program Security, OPSEC, PERSEC, Physical Security,
Technical Security, Information Assurance, INFOSEC, COMSEC, etc.)
to enable execution, reduce/eliminate redundancies, and assure
cross-discipline and cross-organizational teamwork through
consistent and repeatable process management.
- Oversee implementation of processes related to classified
contract management, program security, classified programs, insider
threat, counterintelligence awareness, supply chain security,
compliance with government standards, COMSEC, workplace violence
prevention, security awareness, asset protection, access control,
badge and identification, and ITAR/Export related security
measures.
- Manage the integration of all security initiatives across the
organization and ensure employee engagement and facilities change
as necessary to meet contract compliance while meeting operational
and business goals.
- Must be willing to seek and take on active and direct roles
with Industry/Government security organizations to include active
working group participation, executive committee membership and
chair/vice chair positions as/if possible.
- Oversee program emergency and crisis management planning and
execution, with integrating role in sector crisis management and
business resilience planning and execution.
- Oversee the investigation of Security incidents and assist with
disciplinary and legal matters as necessary.
- Responsible for the planning, management, and execution of
direct and indirect Security budget.This position will offer 1st
Shift with the ability to come in on weekends and work off hours as

and become even better at what we do.Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree AND 10+ years' experience in
Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries
or Military related experience OR a Master's degree AND 8+ years'
experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace,
Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience OR High
School Diploma AND 14+ years' experience in Security within the
Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related
experience.
- Must have 5+ years of management or leadership experience
within a Security organization.
- Must have an active Top Secret DoD clearance and the ability to
obtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to commencement of
employment.Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have at least 10 years of experience in Industrial
Security across the entire security spectrum (DOD, IC and NISPOM -
Collateral, SCI and SAP), Physical Security, Cyber Information
Assurance, COMSEC and Emergency/Crisis Management planning and
execution.
- Experience in national Security classified programs and
managing complex resources and budgets for large security
teams.
- The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and 12 years of
experience in Industrial Security, to include 8 years in management
with experience managing multiple programs/locations.
- Proven ability and experience working with US Government
security leadership in DOD and IC security programs.
- Experience and direct participation with Government/Industry
Security Organizations (ISWG, NDIA, AIA, NCMS, etc.).
- Possess a breadth of demonstrated business, financial and
management skills, knowledge and abilities.
- Current TS/SCI access would be preferred.Salary Range: $155,100
- $232,700The above salary range represents a general guideline;
however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when
determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
