Job Description Who wouldn t want to start every day interacting with a passionate, global fan base? That s what you will be doing as the Social Media Manager of IMSA. We're seeking a creative professional to join us in this stimulating role based in our Daytona, FL office. The Social Media Manager is part of an experienced group that includes the communications staff while working closely with marketing and partnership teams. The Social Media Manager will tell our story through our various social channels and website. The bond between those fans and our teams, drivers and manufacturers from premium worldwide automotive brands is yours to connect and manage, all while having fun telling the IMSA story! Travel Required: Up to 20% including nights and weekends Can you develop unique content that can make a 600-horsepower race car jump out of a Twitter feed? This job may be for you if you can make our daily followers say \"Wow!\" and you can excel at the following: Duties: Creating and maintaining an ongoing dialogue on our social channels Staying focused and executing a content calendar Collaborating on projects that advance partner relationships You communicate clearly, you re a skilled writer with editing proficiency You can interview people on camera You stay one step ahead of industry trends You can think on your feet and roll with changes Major responsibilities include: Organize and execute social media campaigns that engage avid enthusiasts and grow our sport Manage IMSA s social media presence and develop unique content across social media channels, including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook while following a coordinated content calendar Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to increase brand recognition and create unique multimedia, copy and content for social media outlets, including videos, graphics for deliverables, campaigns and real-time coverage Evolve IMSA s voice for each social media channel in a way that is innovative and engaging, while remaining consistent with our sanctioning body s core values Provide race weekend support through live social media coverage by working with in-place streaming services Compile, report and analyze social media analytics to guide strategy and best practices Work with IMSA partners to advance social platforms; advise on best practices and future opportunities from those insights Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Sports Management, Multimedia or similar, plus minimum three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Well-versed in utilizing social media management and analysis tools (ex, Hookit) Experience executing digital content and social media strategies to align with audience behaviors, goals and key messages to drive audience engagement Ability to evaluate and edit the content, structure and format of a range of digital material spanning text and multimedia Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, specifically Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator Proficient in software applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Demonstrated ability to manage expectations and interact with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community Experience coordinating multiple projects around tight deadlines We want you to bring your experience, skills and passion to our close-knit, high-energy environment in which our employees thrive and where you can prosper.
