OpportunityAs a Poker Room Shift Manager you will;
- Assist the Poker Room Manager with the overall management of
the Poker Room operations.
- Directly supervise Poker Room Floors and hourly staff,
including hiring, scheduling, counseling and discipline, appraisals
and development of staff. Maintains proper staffing levels.
Maintains associate records, payroll processing and training.
- Assures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations,
policies and rules including but not limited to State Poker
regulations and company policies and procedures. Assures compliance
with Federal regulations including IRS. Interacts with state gaming
regulatory commission as needed.
- Investigates and resolves customer complaints and issues.
- Implements and enforces all departmental and organizational
policies, rules and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Minimum requirements
are High School or Associates Degree - Business or Finance
preferred WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum of five years gaming supervisory
experience required. Experience in Poker strongly preferred.
Intermediate computer skills in Excel, Word and Player Tracking
systems strongly preferred. Eligibility and maintenance of a
Florida Pari-mutuel license is required. Must have strong
communication skills. FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY Recommends budgeting
information to the Poker Room Manager and Director of Operations
and manages operations within the approved budget. Assists in
analyzing and creating spreadsheets to monitor poker activity.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Demonstrates a strong knowledge of
poker games that the facility provides and the ability to
demonstrate correct game result decisions. Knowledge of Accounting
strongly preferred. Demonstrates strong customer service skills
similar to GuestPath. Must be able to read, write, understand and
speak in English, in a proficient manner. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Walking and standing 85% of the time. TRAINING PROVIDED Bravo and
Smart Button training provided 5% TRAVEL - Majority of travel is
