Our affiliated practice Full Circle Women's Care is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in Jacksonville, Florida.Full Circle Women's Care provides evidence-based care within a structure that balances patient autonomy with safety. Experienced certified nurse midwives are encouraged to apply!Position Highlights:

• Join an established practice with 4 physicians and 3-4 midwives.
• 3-day work week (average of 36 hours per week)
• Call Schedule: 8 call weekends per year
• Patient volume: -21 patients per day
• Effectively identifies, evaluate and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population in the practice while administering quality patient care.
• Provide pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
• Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with the physician, other providers and practice manager, which allows for consultation, collaboration or referral. Works in a leadership role with the staff.
• Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic and long-term healthcare issues.
• Educated patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues and the use of prescribed medical treatment and/or medication.
• Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures.

    • AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
    • Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
    • Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
    • One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred
    • Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery RN experience
    • Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
    • CPR and NALS Certification
