Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician Profession: Radiology /

Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 15:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year
of experience in General Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology, with
preference for PET experience License: State or national
certification and/or license required Certifications: ARRT, BLS,
NMTCB (preferred) Must-Have: Proficient in venipuncture Experience
with Adult, Nuclear Cardiology, and various procedures including
Bone, Brain, Liver, Spleen, Lung, Renal, Thyroid, and Myocardial
Peripheral IV skills required PACS experience required Description:
At least 1 year of work experience in General Nuclear Medicine and
Cardiology is required. Preference will be given to candidates with
some PET experience. Proficiency in venipuncture is necessary. The
shift runs from 06:30 to 15:00, Monday through Friday. The
technician will take call for 7 days straight every 4th week
(Monday to Sunday). Mandatory work on 1 evening and 1 holiday if
1-2 holidays fall within the assignment. If 3 holidays fall within
the assignment, the technician will be required to work 1 evening
and 2 holidays. Travelers must be more than 30 miles from the
facility. A maximum of 3 call-outs will result in termination of
the assignment. Failure to provide 48 hours' notice before a shift
may result in forfeiting guaranteed hours for the pay period. If
notice is given 1 week or more in advance of a shift, refusal to
change may result in termination. Plan for at least 4 hours to
complete required modules prior to start date. Travelers must have
a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. Completion of
modules is non-billable. Modules vary by specialty and must be
completed before starting the assignment. Travelers should be
willing to accommodate schedule changes made up to 48 hours before
a scheduled shift. Failure to accommodate changes may affect
guaranteed hours.
