Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital as
a Post Partum Registered Nurse (RN) and contribute to providing
exceptional care to mothers and newborns. In our state-of-the-art
facilities, you will work in a nurturing environment that is part
of the HCA Florida Healthcare network, renowned for its advanced
surgical, emergency care, and specialized treatment programs. As a
Post Partum RN, you will support new mothers from delivery through
the postpartum period, overseeing their recovery and ensuring the
health and well-being of both mothers and newborns. Provide
comprehensive care to postpartum patients, helping manage physical
and emotional needs. Educate and support new mothers and families
on newborn care, lactation, and recovery. Monitor vital signs of
mother and baby and administer medications as ordered. Collaborate
with obstetricians and pediatricians to ensure cohesive care plans.
Document all patient interactions and interventions in accordance
with hospital policy. Participate in team meetings and contribute
to quality improvement initiatives. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills High proficiency in patient care and safety
protocols Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented
environment Knowledge of newborn care and postpartum recovery

401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred.
