Must-Have: Strong Labor and Delivery experience Description: We are
seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The
nurse will work in a dynamic Women's Center unit. Experience in
labor management and postpartum care is required. Ability to
perform vaginal exams and provide labor support is essential.
Knowledge of pregnancy-related diagnoses and procedures is
necessary. Experience with Pitocin induction and managing both
primary and repeat C-sections is a plus. The nurse will assist with
newborn resuscitation and stabilization after birth. Support for
breastfeeding after delivery and conducting non-stress tests will
be expected. The unit consists of 210 staffed beds and cares for
neonates, adolescents, and adults. Flexibility in scheduling is
required as weekend shifts may vary based on patient needs.
Additional experience in Med/Surg and Mother-Baby care is
beneficial. The nurse must be capable of floating between
departments as needed. Working collaboratively within an
interdisciplinary team is essential. The ideal candidate will
thrive in a small, supportive unit environment. Requirements
