A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. People First in Jacksonville Local Team Collaboration: - Join our close-knit team of 33 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs) at UF Health Jacksonville and UF Health Jacksonville North. - Collaborate with dedicated clinical performance nurses and work closely with a wide array of specialists, case managers, and nurses. - Be part of a Level I tertiary facility, where we engage in daily interdisciplinary meetings with key departments to optimize patient care. Key Responsibilities: - As a hospitalist, you will handle complex cases in a closed ICU, with intensivist coverage during the day and night. - You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent care without the expectation of doing procedures or running codes. - Collaborate with case management, nursing, and pharmacy to improve patient outcomes and streamline care.
