Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Radiologic Technologist - Interventional Radiology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM /n• Float required to other departments as needed /n• Must have knowledge of sterile procedure and vast knowledge of all interventional procedures including neuro, vascular and visceral studies /n• Scrub and circulate for interventional procedures /n• Knowledge of interventional radiology equipment and supplies required /n• Serve patients of all age groups /n• Less than one year general radiology experience with emphasis on angio/interventional procedures required /n• 1-2 years interventional experience preferred /n• Must be graduate from School of Radiologic Technology recognized by ARRT and/or RCIS /n• Required certifications: Florida State License and/or RCIS, ARRT certification and/or RCIS, BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, NIH Stroke Scale /n• Preferred certification: ARRT Vascular Interventional (VI) /n• No RTO during first two weeks of assignment with maximum 8 days RTO allowed for 13-week contract /n• Must complete seasonal influenza vaccination or exemption process with educational module /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center is part of a prominent university health system, providing comprehensive healthcare services including advanced interventional radiology procedures.
