This contract position is ideal for skilled nurses who provide focused care to patients who require stepdown monitoring and support. Qualifications: Current and valid RN license. Experience working in a Stepdown unit or a similar acute care environment. Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills specific to patient recovery. Ability to manage multiple patients requiring high acuity care. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities: Monitor patient conditions closely, assessing for any changes or complications. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
