Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Florida State or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: EPIC experience required Weekend requirement: Minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period Float requirement: Must be willing to float to other units or locations Description: This position requires the ability to float between multiple facilities. The traveler will be assigned to a specific home base but could float to other units as needed. Candidates must possess experience managing telemetry patients. The role involves the interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of cardiac drips. Nurses will care for diverse patient populations, including adults and geriatrics. Familiarity with guidelines for isolation precautions and wound care is essential. The nursing staff will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Proficiency in administering medications, including blood products and IV therapies, is necessary.
