seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract
nursing job in Jacksonville, Florida. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13
weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment
Type: Local Contract Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 28 · Type
of equipment : Medical beds, alaris infusion pumps, Welch Allen
Vitals Machines, Lift equipment available · Documentation system:
Meditech · Patient Experience requirements: Use of AIDET
(Acknowledge, Introduce, Explain, Duration, and Thank You) at all
times. Hourly rounding expected. Escalation of patient issues/
concerns brought to leadership real-time Hospital Specifics- ·
Certifications: BLS required; ALS preferred Requested Skill Set: 4
South Tower is a medical surgical unit that requires skills needed
for an acute care setting. This includes competency in IV therapy,
medication administration, basic assessment skills, and optimizing
patient-centered care Must have: Positive attitude, flexibility in
staffing and scheduling, and be a team player Advanced skills
needed: none Procedures performed on unit: Basic fundamentals, such
as wound care, IV, Foley, and NGT placement, and drain management
Per diem, resource pool, and travel assignments available as
well.
