(Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) Job Description: The
Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites
applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor specializing in Glaucoma to
expand our academic practice. There is an immediate opportunity to
engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice within a
well-established, longstanding department supported by a brand-new,
state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. In addition to
providing excellence in patient care, ample opportunities exist to
develop independent and collaborative research initiatives and
innovative educational programs within an academic medical center.

experience. The College of Medicine offers a competitive faculty

Expected Salary: $240k - 300k; Commensurate with education and
experience with an excellent benefits package. Minimum
Requirements: Completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology
residency program, as well as postgraduate fellowship training in
Glaucoma. Board certification or eligibility and licensure (or
eligibility) to practice medicine in the State of Florida are
required. Preferred Qualifications: Qualifications, in addition to
clinical expertise, include a strong commitment to teaching,
resident training, and research as well as participation in
academic activities. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills along with strong interpersonal skills are important.
