Job Description:
Overview: Full Time Position Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm
The primary purpose of this position is to clean and maintain the
Operating rooms as well as all equipment; secure supplies for OR
team, and restock rooms. Patient care will include positioning,
transferring and transporting patients within the various areas
within Perioperative Services. Qualifications: Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED Preferred Education: N/A Required
Licensure/Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) within
30 days from the date of hire. Preferred Licensure/Certifications:
CNA, or PCA, or MA Required Experience: Less than one (1) year of
patient care (i.e. nursing assistant/surgical tech/ MA), Supply
chain, Operating Room or relevant medical equipment experience
Preferred Experience: 3-5 years patient care, Supply Chain, OR, or
relevant medical equipment experience Necessary Skills: 1. Customer
Service skills. 2. Must possess manual dexterity, computer skills,
and be able to work under pressure. 3. Effective oral and written
communication skills. 4. Must be able to read, spell and do simple
math, write clearly and understand written and oral instructions.
5. Need to have effective computer skills, including typing, and
use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) 6.
Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner
with all members of the healthcare team 7. Demonstrates a
willingness to learn new methods, procedures and techniques
resulting from departmental or organization change. 8. Adapts
quickly and easily to change and adjusted behavior and approach to
work when necessary to achieve goals.
