RN Med Surg Needed in Sanford, FL.

This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $30.45 $34.52 (5 Years of experience)- $38.65 (10 years of experience)- $44.24 (17+ years of experience)
• Nights and Days are available
• Sign-on Bonus 15,000
• Night Shift Differential: $4.50
• Weekend Shift Differential: $1.50
• (rotating weekends)

Responsibilities:

• The RN is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
• Promote wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner.

Requirements:

• 1 year of Recent (within the last year or 2) RN ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE (Would consider speaking with someone who has LTAC or Rehab experience, but they need to have acute care experience in their background)

• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting
• Current Florida State Registered Nurse license. Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If a compact license is held, an active FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be a critical thinker, provide service excellence, and effectively communicate with colleagues and patients.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• PC Skills
