At Brown & Brown, the Team Resources (TR) Business Partner role is
responsible for providing leadership and strategic human resources
operational support through business partnerships with the
Information Technology senior leaders and their teams to drive
business objectives and deliver value add services in alignment
with the Team Resources strategic goals and business practices.

Culture: Understands the Brown & Brown structure, philosophy, and
overall culture and works diligently to support the assigned span
of responsibility through delivering TR shared services.
Internal Client Relationship Management: Manage relationships with
the IT Senior Leadership team and act as a business partner to them
in growing their business, building high levels of professional
credibility and mutual trust, and mobilizing appropriate internal
and/or external resources to support in delivering business
strategy and plans.
Functional Strategy Formation: Collaborates with counterparts and
leaders to develop and implement best practices within the assigned
span of responsibility, ensuring consistency across all regions and
integration with TR strategic goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and manage stakeholders, finding
out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these through
thought-partnering by leading and coordinating the development of
stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of
business information and decisions.
Information and Business Advice: Provide authoritative specialist
advice to IT leaders to enable the implementation of policy,
training, change initiatives and other projects.
Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Cultivates an inclusive

Influences team building that thrives on diversity of talent, which
helps deliver innovative solutions for our customers.
Employment Practices Case Management: Works with designated
Employment Practices (EP) professional and TR local team leaders,
as appropriate, to investigate, and propose solutions for, complex
and/or contentious high level EP cases; coordinate the
organization's response to legal cases brought by individuals;
contribute to the preparation of legal submissions, ensure accuracy
of casework, and within deadlines.
Leading Through Analytics: Uses TR data and analytics to support
the business, leveraging HRIS dashboards and other critical metrics
including the BE Our Best engagement surveys; Uses TR data to
diagnose underlying causes of key business issues and identifies
opportunities to enhance teammate engagement and/or improve
business performance.
Personal Capability Building: Act as subject matter expert in TR.
Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of
current and emerging external regulation and industry best
practices through continuing professional development, attending
conferences, and reading specialist media.
Best Practice Development & Implementation: Collaborates with
counterparts on the TR leadership team, TR audit, and Finance to
maintain and enhance strategic best practices for the department,
including projects and change initiatives, diversity initiatives,
and talent development, as needed.
Organizational Capability Building: Identify the capabilities
needed to meet current and emerging recruiting and talent
acquisition needs within the department. Evaluate current
capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development activities.
Motivate others to develop capabilities and fulfill personal
potential. Build capabilities through mentoring and other informal
methods.
