Job Description:
The best candidates for this role have a strong comprehension
and experience in ITIL ITSM processes, along with coordination of
activities, work well with other people and have strong verbal and
written communication skills, a sense of diplomacy, ability to
anticipate obstacles. The best candidate will also have familiarity
with ITIL Problem and Change processes and the interactions and
interdependencies that Incident Management has with Problem and
Change Management. Strong analytical and project management skills
required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret
customer business needs and translate them into IT operational
improvements.This role will also be assigned special projects and
other leadership duties, which may be beyond the scope of the ITSM
platform and team.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Day-to-day operation of the ITSM platform as well as
determining how to accomplish more with the functional modules
already implemented
- Leverage knowledge and experience to enhance and identify
efficiencies and opportunities within the ITSM platform and ITIL
framework which includes identifying opportunities in new releases
to minimize customization or additional out of box functionality to
meet business needs and process enhancements.
- Overall ownership and management of Change Management process
and facilitation of associated meeting Change Advisory Board (CAB)
as well as coordination with other CABs within the
organization.
- Ownership and management of the demand management process for
the platform, including evaluation of requests, additional
information gathering, coordination with appropriate resources for
estimating and prioritization.
- Coach and lead the team in design and implementation of new or
enhanced functional or process elements.
- Establishes and maintains professional, positive working
relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with existing
ITSM and ITIL processes and the platform. Stakeholder Management &
Reporting
- Collaborate and work directly with leadership across the
enterprise
- Liaison with the ITSM platform vendor and third-party
vendors
- Facilitate the development and delivery of communications and
training for use of the ITSM platform functionality.
- Foster collaborative relationships with the CIO, IT Leadership
(Infrastructure, Production Support Services, business line
leaders) as well as other functional areas such Legal, Internal
Audit, Security, Finance, Human Resources, etc.
- Recruiting, mentoring, and developing staff and future
leaders.Required
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar positionPreferred
- Bachelor's degree in a business or financial related
discipline
