Job Description:
-Inside Technical Sales RepresentativeThis position will be
responsible for selling water filtration systems into a wide range
of commercial and industrial applications. The primary role is to
identify and contact potential customers in order to develop new
sales and to respond to sales/customer service requests from
existing customers. -ResponsibilitiesDevelop sales opportunities by
providing technical information and explanations; preparing
quotations.Identify current and future customer requirements by
establishing personal rapport with potential and actual
customersCreate sales by checking customer's buying history;
suggesting related and new items; explaining technical
features.Increase sales by up-selling customer optional and
equipment.Provide product, promotion, and pricing information by
clarifying customer request; assisting with product selection;
forwarding information; answering questions.Assist in the
fulfillment of custom requirements by conferring with technical
support staff to select proper productFulfill customer orders by
entering purchase orders into systemContact existing customers to
confirm satisfaction with existing products and to develop
opportunities for additional sales.Resolve customer inquiries by
investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports;
making recommendations to management.Maintain customer database by
inputting customer profile and updates of activityAttend and work
company trade show events to develop sales opportunities with new
and existing customers -PreferencesStrong technical comprehension
and mechanical aptitudeFriendly and professional attitudeSense of
urgency responding to customer inquiriesStrong emphasis on
"customer service" ethicExperience with ERP and/or CRM software
programsAbility to read and interpret engineering
