Our small agile teams adapt to evolving customer and warfighter needs. What You Will Do Critical skillset of Microservices development and experience with Kubernetes. Designing, developing, and deploying microservices to a Kubernetes based environments such as EKS, OpenShift, etc. Knowledge of microservice architectural patterns Cloud environments with focus on containerized workloads, databases, and object storage One role will be for work on a proposal. Technical writing or prior experience with proposal/pursuit preferred for the proposal role. This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity. Qualification We Must Have BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent (STEM) and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Hands-on experience leveraging Cloud services for application development/deployment. Experience with DevOps tools and concepts, including but not limited to: Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Git, Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines & automation Cloud Qualifications Cloud native development experience - designing/creating microservices, using patterns like 12factorapp, and other good practices for containerization of microservices Hands-on experience deploying Cloud resources Experience with Event Driven Architectures Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes We might want to clarify to the vendors that we want experience writing highly available medium/large microservice-based applications. An application that consists of at least a dozen or more microservices interacting with each other. Writing one-off lambdas to do automation is not enough.
