A Brief Overview A Millwork Assembly Manager will manage the work of a team of millwork assemblers, leads and supervisors. This position is responsible for overseeing the assembly process in an efficient manner. What you will do Oversee material staging and ensure proper availability of supplies for production. Coordinate component set-up and verify materials are prepared for upcoming orders. Direct and support team leads in truss setups, measurements, and quality checks. Monitor product quality and verify compliance with standards and specifications. Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and conducive to efficient operations. Coordinate set-up of assembly processes and allocate resources as needed. Ensure safe and efficient use of equipment during the assembly process. Monitor production workflow process assisting other areas as needed. Enforce OSHA requirements, company safety rules, and safe work practices. Foster a positive work environment and promote strong customer service values. Maintain operational awareness to ensure error-free and damage-free results. Responsible for managing a team of 10 associates (direct and indirect), including hiringand termination decisions, setting goals, communicating expectations, providingperformance feedback, and overseeing budget accountability. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. Experience Qualifications 5 years of industry experience / Millwork assembly required. Skills and Abilities Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer. Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.
