Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate filling this position will be expected
to but not limited to teach graduate level courses across degree
and certificate programs in the department; Advising master's
students regarding clinical training, including practicum,
fieldwork and internship placements
- Familiar with the CACREP educational programs standards with a
working knowledge of how these standards serve as a guideline for
course content and clinical supervision.
- Ability to contribute to the department with an active research
agenda as well as ability to collaborate with other departments to
work on research activities.
- Ability to teach in person, hybrid and online courses with
evening and weekend availability.
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and social
Earned doctorate in Counseling, Counseling Education, Counseling
Psychology, or related field preferably from a CACREP accredited
program. ABD will be considered if expected to graduate with 6
months of hire. Licensed or License Eligible in the state of
Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
