• Visit patients either bedside or in hospital office setting to pre-screen for qualifying criteria of various Federal & State Medicaid/Social Security Administration (SSA) programs
• Assist them with the application processes of the various programs including but not limited to completing the application, following up to obtain all necessary documentation, & maintaining ongoing communication with the patient/guarantors Requirements for a Eligibility Specialist:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with assisting or doing the Medicaid application Highly Preferred
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional- ability to interact well at all levels from patients, doctors, RN s, etc.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office(Word, Excel and Outlook) Hours for this Eligibility Specialist Position: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Advantages of this Eligibility Specialist Position:
