We have immediate openings in Daytona for Auto Salvage Yard CleanersJob Description: Salvages materials in the auto yard, performing any combination of duties: Collects reusable items or waste materials, such as lumber, paper, rags, fiber, yarn, rubber, beer and soft drink bottles, chemicals, and scrap metal, in scrap gondolas, barrels, or other containers, using wheelbarrow or by hand. Moves reusable materials to production department or storage. Separates metal particles from waste, using wire screen or magnet. Using brooms, rakes, etc. to pick up debris and keep yard clear of wasted parts and scraps.Requirements: Must be able to work in extreme temperatures. You will be working outside in a salvage yard. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able stand long periods of time with long-distance walking Must meet background check and drug test requirements. Previous experience working outside (Landscaping, Construction Cleaning type positions) are favorable Will be required to clean sections of the yard within strict time limits to ensure maximum efficiency.Available shift: Open availability Monday-Sunday between 7am-6pm (hours may vary).
