*10k Sign on Bonus* - Halifax Health - Brooks Rehabilitation - Center for Inpatient Rehabilitation, located within Halifax Health - Medical Center of Daytona Beach, specializes in treating -, -, - -and -. A full spectrum of physical and - -services are provided. Job Responsibilities:

• Performs same duties as staff therapist. (See discipline specific job description).
• Understands and supports the financial goals of the organization.
• Educates staff to ensure understanding of performance expectations.
• Conforms to all personnel policy and procedures.
• Supports and assists other managers.
• Ensures confidentiality with all staff documents and records.
• Fosters opportunity for optimum staff professional growth and clinical development.
• Ensures Policy and Procedure Manuals are current, well maintained, reviewed, and revised according to administrative mandate.
• Ensures departmental/program quality control process is functional and reported adequately and timely.
• Compiles monthly statistical reports and forwards to Center Manager.
• Builds and develops professional relationships with Referring Physicians through the development of clinical expertise in the field of Rehabilitation Services.
• Demonstrates current in-depth knowledge of Rehabilitation to include State of the Art techniques and clinical advancements.
• Demonstrates ability to perform all facets of job effectively and efficiently.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and attitudes that enhance staff personal and professional development.
• Ensures adequate maintenance of departmental/program files to adhere to policy standards and changes.
• Completes other departmental/programs duties as required. Job Qualifications:
  • Maintains confidentiality of client information.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures specific to client rights.
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment; identifies and reports hazards.
  • Completes all annual mandatory education requirements.
  • Adheres to policies/procedures specific to universal precautions.

  • Promotes a positive image of the hospital and outpatient sites to outside agencies and the public.
  • Ensures all accreditation/licensing standards are maintained.
  • Maintains responsibility for obtaining required continuing education, and all certifications as necessary.
  • Participates in performance improvement activities with the objective of pursuing Clinical Excellence.
  • Exhibits excellent service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
