Location: Resort city is just over one hour from Orlando and Jacksonville on the Florida Atlantic coast. All major medical and surgical services are available. The emergency department (ED) includes the area's only Level II Trauma Center and the only Pediatric ED. Working with more than 500 physicians, representing 54 sub-specialties.Opportunity: Opening is for an Acute Care Pediatric patient care. Pediatrician will have both Inpatient and Emergency Care responsibilities, as well as clinical teaching for Family Medicine residents. This is a new position where the ED team and the Inpatient team are the same, and care is delivered in a single location completely focused on providing excellent pediatric care with 24/7 physician coverage. They have strong relationships with pediatric tertiary care hospitals for easy transfers and support as needed, and flexible scheduling for an excellent work/life balance.Compensation: Base salary based on experience.
