Overview:Aerojet Rocketdyne, 3D Material Technologies in Daytona Beach, FL is looking for a Manufacturing Planning/Scheduling/BOM entry and Shipping/Receiving individual to improve flow of materials and traceability. This position requires a dynamic and adaptable individual skilled in working in a fast paced lean manufacturing environment. The Individual will develop, manage, and support the 3D printing process for use in development of rocket engine components for Aerospace and Defense applications. Working within the Aerospace and Defense markets, Aerojet Rocketdyne, 3D Material Technologies is dedicated to taking a customers concept and turning it into a reality through the rapid production of one off prototypes and the mass production of customized components. Review Powder levels to maintain sufficient inventory for continued productionGenerate plans and timelines for deliveriesMaintain plans for meeting production goals 25% - BOM(Bill of Material) Entry and UpdatesThe Job responsibilities include the following:
Enter part numbers into the system for Inventory scheduling and maintenanceEnsure all requirements are addressed with review from Quality/EngineeringMaintain revision levels and update as required25% - SchedulingThe Job responsibilities for scheduling of deliveries internal and external
Upon receipt of PO or request for work review with Engineering/Quality to release paperwork(Routers, drawings) and incorporate OSP schedule for maintaining OTD to customer delivery dates.Create & maintain a Shipping scheduleProvide regular updates to customer on delivery and review weekly status updates in team meetingsManage product at outside service providers to ensure tracking to Customer OTD.Work to implement a Sales/Planning schedule to easily maintain customer deliveries to promise dates25% - Shipping/ReceivingThe Job responsibilities include the following:
Generate and maintain the following documentation:
Receiving Documentation(Stored for easy retrieval)Maintenance and review of shipping materialsMaintain schedule to ensure timely Customer deliveriesMaintain database for Customer ship to addresses/contactsRequirements:Required:
Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of professional experience in Aerospace, conventional manufacturing, additive manufacturing or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior experience with MRP/ERP Systems Experience in Inventory Control and Material handlingVery good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to understand engineering drawings and parts listsDemonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs Desired:
American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) CertificationExperience with Oracle/SAPExperience with Bill of Material set ups and review Working knowledge of Inventory control and material handlingExperience in Shipping/Receiving Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
