your future. Responsibilities The Research Fellow will work in the
laboratory of Dr. Minerva Carrasquillo, who is one of four
co-principal investigators on the NIH-funded CLEAR-AD program
focused on the identification of novel blood biomarkers and
therapeutic targets for Alzheimers disease. The Research Fellow
should have formal training and a strong grasp of concepts in
genomics, epigenetics, statistics, experience programming in R, and
independently implementing bioinformatics tools commonly utilized
in genomics studies. Responsibilities will include gathering,
organizing, and analyzing multi-omics and exposome data from study
participants included in the CLEAR-AD program, regularly
communicating the progress of the data collection and analysis
results with lab members and with internal and external
collaborators, preparing and submitting manuscripts and grant
proposals, and co-mentoring junior trainees. Active participation
in monthly conference calls will be required and potentially travel
to an annual conference to present the projects progress.
Qualifications Must have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related field
at the time of the start date of the Research Fellowship.
Candidates should have completed no more than one prior
postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere. Applicants
should have experience leading research projects and should have
contributed as first author to peer-reviewed publications. If

Fellow position in Life Sciences (LS) will require knowledge of
either clinical-based research or laboratory-based research often
obtained from a postdoctoral program. A Research Fellow at Mayo
Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and
education in research. Individuals will train in the research
program of a Mayo Clinic principal investigator. Qualified
individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as
evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and
should become competitive for national research grants. Proof of
English proficiency is required for J-1 Short-Term Scholars,
Research Scholars, Professors, Specialists, and Student Interns
sponsored by Mayo Clinic. Qualifications Must have a Ph.D. in
Neuroscience or related field at the time of the start date of the
Research Fellowship. Candidates should have completed no more than
