Opportunity Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s College of
Aviation, Department of Aeronautical Science, is seeking a highly
qualified and motivated individual to fill the role of Uncrewed
Aircraft Systems (UAS) Flight Operations and Lab Support Manager.
This position will play a critical role in supporting our growing
UAS program by ensuring the effective management, operation, and
development of UAS labs and facilities. The UAS Laboratory
Coordinator will work closely with faculty, students, and research
teams to facilitate academic, research, and operational activities
within the UAS domain. Compensation The annual salary range for
this position is up to $60,000. The final offer will consider the
candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, along with
applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs,

Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Required
Certificates: FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate Preferred
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Uncrewed Aircraft Systems or
a closely related field is preferred. However, candidates with a
minimum of two years of directly related industry experience may be
considered in lieu of the formal educational requirement. Knowledge
of UAS safety protocols and FAA regulations governing UAS
operations. Proficiency with UAS flight planning and operational
software. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty,
students, and staff. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. FAA
Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. Experience managing laboratory
operations. Familiarity with UAS data collection and analysis
tools. Prior teaching, training, or instructional experience in
