Job Description Job Description Tax Intern Job Summary: The Tax Intern provides high quality accounting and tax services for clients. These tax services include the preparation of tax returns for both individuals and corporations. The Tax Intern works closely with managers and stuff. Responsibilities: Prepares income tax returns for Individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Quantifies and documents federal and state income tax liabilities for tax returns, extensions and estimated payments. Responds to client inquiries. Keeps up-to-date on current accounting practices and changes in tax law. Maintains the confidentiality of the firm and its clients. Qualifications: Working towards obtaining or has recently obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting Previous tax internship a plus Proficient with Microsoft Office products Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detail- oriented Strong analytical ability and judgement Ability to manage multiple engagements in fast-paced environment
