Job Overview:

Essential Job Duties:

 

  • Develops and maintains quality standards, Program Specific Procedures (PSPs), and SOPs for the pharmacy.
  • Assists with the administration of process documentation, SOPs/PSPs, validation documents and training materials.
  • Responsible for updating all Ops guides as directed and ensures notification of changes completed on SharePoint.
  • Delivers training as needed.
  • Responsible for updating SOPS as needed and updating and maintaining version controls
  • Responsible for ensuring training records are current and up to date with updated training Matrix, monitoring overdue trainings and coordination with management
  • Responsible for collecting team meeting and group training signatures (including missed training) and recording training
  • Responsible for monitoring client required trainings and annual required trainings, ensuring completion of all trainings prior to due dates
  • Serves as subject matter expert and lends technical expertise to pharmacy programs in the area of quality and training.
  • Identifies discrepancies or quality issues and trends in quality tracking systems and escalates database concerns.
  • Ensures audit readiness, participates in and may facilitate client audits of pharmacy programs.
  • Collects, maintains, and manages records to meet administrative requirements within the pharmacy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

The Associate Manager of Documentation will hold a Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred) or evidence of continual work toward a degree. Candidates without a degree should have a high school diploma and 8 or more years’ pharmacy or customer service work experience.

 

Will Also Have:

Strong customer service communication skills; strong writing skills, and good presentation skills. Good initiative; ability to grasp concepts; analytical thinking skills and ability to anticipate next steps; organized and thorough in work; ability to multi-task and manage workload; good follow up and attention to detail; ability to address problems proactively; uses good judgment and knows when to involve others; computer literacy. Knowledge of relational databases strongly preferred. A self-starter with demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.

Experience:

Minimum Required:

The Associate Manager of Documentation will have 4 plus years of relevant experience and knowledge base in pharmacy, quality assurance, or customer service industries required.
